Armstrong Equine MassageHorse Massage Therapy Program Took this class to add a little something to my toolbox....thanks to Leda, I need a bigger toolbox!! The amount of knowledge and hands on experience I was able to obtain here far surpassed my expectations and I came home with more than I could have hoped for. Thank you Leda and Family for the wonderful week!! I feel energized and have whole new appreciation for these amazing creatures. Leda was a wonderful teacher. She has a wealth of knowledge and skill not only in the subject of massage therapy but in all things horses as well. I took her course and it was worth every penny. She also came to my place as a clinician and did an incredible job educating myself and some of my community on proper saddle fitting. Massage is such a valuable therapy tool to be able to use and share. I highly recommend Armstrong! I can not say enough good things about Armstrong! I attended the 4 day equine course and added the canine on the end. To say that I was skeptical would not be a lie. How on earth was I going to be comfortable massaging horses and dogs after 5 days?! But, let me tell you, this woman KNOWS HER STUFF and is an exceptional instructor! My mind was blown at all the info she was able to pack in and make stick! We were provided a variety of horse and dog breeds to practice our techniques on. And safety was ALWAYS a number one priority. If you're interested in equine or canine massage, Leda is your gal! Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Very fun and learned a lot. I took the entry-level 2-day course. Was a good investment in my knowledge. Now I'm able to give something back to the horses and know that I bring something of value to them! Leda is not only a wonderful and encouraging instructor, but creates an incredible environment of teamwork and business mentoring. Through her I discovered a passion for equine massage that had long been waiting to be awakened, and I plan on taking as many more classes as possible from her.
